The Old Man and the Sea
Albatross makes the introduction, and Hawkins finally meets the man behind the curtain. The one who has been laying bread crumbs for him to find. The one who got him the assignment with GNN in the first place.
Remember that? The mystery of why the disgraced reporter was tapped for a fluff piece on Danger Team 7? Back in the first few pages of this book?
Uh huh. The Admiral’s influence has been throughout the story, and now we and Hawkins get to find out why.
ED’S NOTES
Ok, so flow and tone are EVERYTHING when you’re telling a really good graphic story.
And right now? The tone and the flow are a necessity to set the mood.
I did my best with light sources, keeping in mind that I was trying to have this interaction comes across as REALLY important, moody and play on the shadows and light.
I learned a lot, in that respect.
