At least Ronni gets a shot in. I wasn’t crazy about her being completely ineffectual in this fight and Donnie just ganging up on her and beating the crap out of her, so this was the big reason that these pages didn’t make it into the issue. Well, aside from it really changing the tone and approach of the episode, showing the weirdness of the world from Betty’s perspective. A superpowered brawl would just reveal Donnie’s power and damage his image, while that makes it Tuesday to Ronni. Although even more of LA getting torn up would certainly not be the way to win back her hometown.
